Invitation to York Medieval Lecture: Video Games & the Work of Medieval Art History: Possibilities for Public Impact Through Industry Collaborations

Hello Reader,

I'm writing with an invitation - this week Wednesday 12 Nov. I'm giving the York Medieval Lecture at the Centre for Medieval Studies, University of York - I'd love to see you there, in person or online.

In this talk I'll be reflecting on lessons I've learned from working as a consultant to the games industry. If you're curious about consulting for games and entertainment as an academic, combining research with social justice impact work, or purpose-led social entrepreneurship from an arts, humanities and social science researcher's perspective, I'd love for you to join.

All the details are on University of York's website here.

Have a wonderful week, and until soon...

All my best,

Glaire

p.s. Adding to the joyful chaos this week, I'm teaching two full Intensive Days for my new distance learning course on Video Games and XR for Inclusive Cultural Heritages. It's for Edinburgh Futures Institute's new MSc Programme in Cultural Heritage Futures. More on that here
